Our Organisation Values Safety, Care, Respect & Professionalism The Role: This is an exciting opportunity to work independently within the comfort of a supportive, enthusiastic team. Work will be mainly to deliver one-on-one therapy for wahine and Tamariki. You'll be responsible for the assessment, planning and treatment of a caseload of clients and will provide individual therapy and support. You will ideally have experience and skills in providing a range of therapeutic modalities with a trauma lens and have a strong interest in developing skills in this area. As part of a dedicated multidisciplinary team, you will engage in regular peer and external supervision and contribute to case management meetings. Has expertise in assessing and treating clients who have experienced trauma Is experienced in working with culturally diverse clients Has a background in working with women and children Is familiar with strength-based practice principles Demonstrates exemplary professional practice Thrives in a busy, multi-disciplinary team setting Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills Is passionate about supporting individuals on their recovery journey Holds current registration with NZAC, DAPAANZ, APANZ or SWRB Your primary role will involve: Providing one-on-one Trauma focused counselling, Contributing to a team environment that values collaboration and clinical proficiency. Therapeutic Skillset: A warm, engaging approach with clients and an interest in strength based and integrative therapy. Experience: Ideally 12 months or more post-graduate experience in mental health Commitment to Growth: A desire to deepen your clinical skills through ongoing learning and supervision.
